The garment and elbow patches on this item are made from a Cashmere + Cotton chambray woven in Italy. The wooden buttons are made from Norwegian Birch trees harvested and milled by independent loggers in Rutland, Vermont. The raw lumber is shipped to Brooklyn, New York where the buttons are cut from ¼" thick sheets made up of 8 layers of veneer. Each laminated sheet is impregnated with black dye for colourfastness.
